CPI Security was the proud presenting sponsor of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s First Responders Appreciation Breakfast in Raleigh, N.C.
CPI Security has been a proud sponsor of the First Responders Appreciation Breakfast since 2015. The breakfast raises money for the 200 Club of Wake County, an organization that supports the families of fallen first responders in Wake County. Additionally, the breakfast serves as an opportunity to give thanks to first responders across the region.
Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Eddie Buffaloe, Jr. served as the keynote speaker of the event. He recognized first responders for their sacrifices and heroism that saves others’ lives.
“In a world that is ever-changing, at times unpredictable, our first responders are the ones who provide calm in the middle of chaos,” Buffaloe, Jr. said. “They run towards danger, while thousands run away. Today, we’re gathered to recognize the outstanding service of first responders in various career fields. You’re the backbone of our public safety.”
CPI Security and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce recognized first responders for various events they responded to in the last year. Among the recipients were first responders from the following agencies:
Wake County Sheriff’s Office
North Carolina State Highway Patrol
State Capitol Police
Wake County Emergency Medical Services
Raleigh-Wake County Emergency Communications Center
City of Raleigh Police Department
City of Raleigh Fire Department
To close the ceremony, CPI Security and community leaders presented a $15,000 check to the 200 Club of Wake County.
On behalf of everyone at CPI Security, we thank all first responders for their service!
