Charlotte, NC, July 21, 2020 – CPI Security is proud to announce Kerr Putney has joined the organization as a consultant to assist with community and government relations. Putney recently retired from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and will work directly with CEO Ken Gill. Building upon CPI’s existing investments and relationships with more than 40 charitable partners, Putney will be responsible for impactful community engagement and strategic investment aimed at improving opportunities for success for underserved youth.

During his tenure as Police Chief, Putney created and improved initiatives that provide underserved youth opportunities for life skills development and employment, including Youth Diversion Programs, Envison Academy (enrichment programs for underserved youth) and internship programs.
