You never know when danger will strike. The Williams didn’t expect it when they were winding down for the night. But with CPI Security, they were prepared when it mattered most.
It was late one night when a car drove past the Williams’ house and gunfire erupted.
“The bullets went everywhere,” Annette Williams said. “In the shower, the bath, the kitchen. The entire house was riddled with bullets.”
Stunned and afraid, the Williams stayed still as bullets sprayed across their home. One of the bullets set off their CPI Security glass break detector, sending their home security system into alarm.
“CPI Security, identify yourself,” The CPI Security Central Station Operator said over the Williams’ two-way speaker.
“They’re shooting in our house,” Annette screamed.
CPI Security dispatched the police while the Williams stayed in place. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Because the Williams had a CPI Security outdoor camera and doorbell camera that recorded the shooting, police were able to catch the gunman.
“[Our CPI Security System] helped us tremendously to catch this person,” Annette said. “I was so glad the system was in place to catch what was going on, when we could not.”
