CPI Security sent nearly 70 Carolina Youth Coalition graduates on a Belk Shopping spree!
With the help of a Belk professional stylist, the students selected professional attire to prepare them for their upcoming school year and job opportunities. Each student received $500 to shop at the SouthPark Mall store.
“Being successful starts with dressing for the part,” CEO and Founder of CPI Security Ken Gill said. “We want our graduates feeling confident. As we like to say at CPI, Get up, Dress up, Show up!”
Carolina Youth Coalition is a non-profit organization that nurtures and propels high-achieving, under-resourced students to and through college. CYC works with primarily first-generation college students throughout the Charlotte area from 9th grade through college graduation.
“Thanks to the incredible generosity of CPI, our graduating Class of 2025 will walk into their next chapter with confidence and pride,” Co-Founder and Executive Director of Carolina Youth Coalition Aaron Randolph said. “This professional attire shopping experience at Belk is more than just new clothes—it’s a powerful reminder that our Fellows are seen, celebrated, and supported as they step into the future they’ve worked so hard for.”
In addition to the shopping experience, the graduates got a tour of Belk’s facility, learned about the differences in attire: casual, business casual, business, etc., and heard about summer intern opportunities at Belk.
