On Thursday, October 8, CPI Security was proud to partner with Claire’s Army, an incredible organization that supports families fighting childhood cancer by providing for their daily responsibilities and needs, allowing them to put time and focus on their child.
“Just like CPI is there for our customers in their times of need, we are there for our community,” said CEO and founder Ken Gill. “We are proud to partner with Claire’s Army to provide necessities and comfort to families facing an unimaginable diagnosis.”
CPI employees put on their Superhero capes during Customer Service week and volunteered with Claire’s Army to assemble Claire Packages for any child that receives a cancer diagnosis in Charlotte. These utility totes are full of essential items families need while in the hospital such as towels, a bathmat, room disinfectant, a journal, gas card/restaurant gift card and more.
“These Claire Packages will go directly into the hands of families and parents who just received a cancer diagnosis from their doctor,” said Emily Ratliff, Executive Director of Claire’s Army. “Claire’s Army provides support in a number of ways and this is a tangible way for this community, for CPI, for all of us to rally around these families.”
