It’s the most wonderful time of year! And CPI Security is making sure children across the Southeast are receiving Christmas gifts this holiday season, especially those who may not have received gifts otherwise.
Charlotte: CMPD Police Explorer’s Christmas Project
For the 29th year, CPI is supporting the CMPD Police Explorer’s Christmas Project. Each year, CPI employees in Charlotte dig into their own pockets to purchase gifts for children in Charlotte.
CPI Security employees get into the holiday spirit at CPI’s annual wrapping party! After shopping for Christmas gifts, the entire corporate office comes together to wrap gifts and load them up into trucks to be delivered just before Christmas.
“The Wrap-Up Party is one of my favorite times of the year at CPI” CEO and Founder of CPI Security Ken Gill said. “Everyone is in the giving spirit, and you can see the impact we are making in the community. It takes a village!”

Raleigh: Raleigh Police Department Shop with a Cop
CPI Security continued and built upon its longstanding partnership with the Raleigh Police Department by supporting the annual Raleigh Shop with a Cop program. This year, the program expanded to support two Shop with a Cop days. Officers shop alongside children at area Walmart stores for Christmas gifts. The program not only provides Christmas to children who may not have received Christmas presents, but it also promotes positive relationships between police and the community, especially youth.
Additionally, CPI adopted two children from the Raleigh Police Department Angel Tree program.
Greensboro: Greensboro Police Department’s Operation Yuletide
Each year, police officers serving the Greensboro Police Department are in contact with people who are victims of crimes, accidents, or other unfortunate events. Operation Yuletide is a project that provides them with new clothes, toys, and household items.
To give back during the holiday season, CPI Security made a corporate donation to the program, and employees from the Greensboro branch personally provided gifts to a family of five.
Greenville: LEO Santa Toy Drive
In conjunction with the Greenville Police Department, CPI Security is supporting the LEO Santa Toy Drive, a toy drive conducted by more than 100 off duty law enforcement officers who fill their patrol cars with toys and gifts donated by the community for kids each Christmas.
Columbia: Columbia Police Department
This year, CPI Security employees from the Columbia office are working with School Resource Officers from the Columbia Police Department to identify a family in need this Christmas.
CPI employees will also volunteer with the Columbia Police Department’s Shop with a Cop program on Dec. 16.
Charleston: Charleston Shop with a Cop
Employees from CPI’s Charleston branch will work with local School Resource Officers to identify families in need for the holidays. They will adopt families to purchase gifts for this holiday season. Additionally, they will partake in the Shop with a Cop program to take underserved youth shopping for the holidays.
Myrtle Beach: Myrtle Beach Police Department
The Myrtle Beach office is also partnering with local School Resource Officers to identify children and families in need this holiday season. They will adopt children to purchase gifts for this Christmas. And on Dec. 9, employees will volunteer with the local Shop with a Cop program to take underserved youth shopping for the holidays.
